Charon Games Shipping Policy

At Charon Games, we are passionate players dedicated to helping new and existing gamers across New Zealand with excellent service, competitive prices, and fast shipping. We understand you're excited to receive your new games, and we strive to get your order dispatched to you as quickly as possible.

Shipping Schedule & Dispatch

Our goal is to ensure prompt delivery for all our customers.

  • Shipping Days: We ship orders nationwide from Monday through to Friday.
  • Weekend Orders: Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be given priority and dispatched first thing on Monday morning.

Special Orders & Supplier Items:

  • In-Stock-with-Supplier Items: Orders for these items are placed with our distributors every Wednesday (or the closest Wednesday if a public holiday). Please allow for a 1-2 week wait on the dispatch time as we wait for the item to arrive.
  • Parrabellum Special Orders: These orders are placed every Wednesday (or the closest Wednesday if a public holiday), with a target delivery to us of 7-14 business days. Occasionally there are delays; if there is an unexpected delay, we will keep you updated. If the product can no longer be supplied, a full refund will be applied.
  • Combined Orders: An order containing both in-stock and special order items will ship together once all items are ready to be dispatched.

Tracked Shipping for All Orders

For your peace of mind, all orders sent from Charon Games are tracked. If you would like your tracking number, simply reply to your order confirmation email or contact us, and we will provide it for you.

New Zealand Shipping Rates

We are pleased to offer FREE Standard Delivery on Standard Orders over $200!

Please note: This free shipping offer does not apply to orders containing Large Items (e.g., Board Games, Armies), which have their own flat-rate shipping costs regardless of the order total.

For all other orders, our shipping options provide more flexibility. We offer a Signature Required option for extra peace of mind, as well as a separate category for Large Items.

Standard Orders (Under $200)

  • Signature Required (NZ Post) $11.50
  • Rural Delivery (NZ Post) $12.50
Large Items (e.g., Board Games, Armies)

Due to their size and weight, bulky orders containing items like large board games or army collections have the following flat rates:

  • Standard (NZ Post) $16.00
  • Signature Required (NZ Post) $18.00
  • Rural Delivery (NZ Post) $19.50

Our Couriers & Secure Packaging

  • Courier Services: Orders placed within New Zealand are sent through our trusted delivery partner, New Zealand Post.
  • Packaging: We take great care to protect your items. All orders are packaged appropriately and securely to ensure your products arrive at your doorstep in pristine condition.
