Among those who receive the mixed sacrament of St. Lazarus, there are always a few in whom the flame of justice burns too brightly. In these warriors, Kleon's blessing shines especially bright, though an unknown interaction brutally accelerates the progression of their disease. Stronger and even more driven than their Penitent brethren, these afflicted fighters are all but unstoppable on the battlefield, running ahead of their steadfast allies to sunder enemy lines before armies have properly engaged.

How They Play

First Blood Mode

Unleash these afflicted warriors upon the foe so they may bring ruin to those who stand before the Hundred Kingdoms. Flailing and flagellating through the enemy battleline, armor and flesh are sundered alike before death puts an end to their ceaseless assault.

The Last Argument of Kings (TLAOK) Mode

Operating as light vanguard troops, the Martyrs rush ahead of the main force to deliver devastating strikes against enemy formations. Enemy shield walls mean very little against a determined living wrecking ball.
