The Institute remains an elusive enigma to most across the post-apocalyptic Wasteland. Are they the synthetic future of humanity, or robotic bogeymen waiting to replace people in their sleep? Few ever discover the true nature of this shadowy faction—and fewer still survive to share what they found.
What is known is that the Institute utilizes the absolute pinnacle of pre- and post-war science to fulfill their agenda. With stiletto-sharp precision, they deploy lethal infiltrators to assassinate high-value targets, followed by unrelenting waves of synthetic shock troops to overwhelm fortified garrisons.
