Sorcerer Kings: Marid Apsara Artisan Series
Stock on Hand: 0
It has long been conjectured by the grand scholars of the Sorcerer Kings that the Elemental Domains, while anchored securely around the Prime, exist at varying spiritual depths. This theory goes a long way toward explaining the unique existence of the Marid Apsara: powerful water-based Asura spirits who, despite their fearsome titles, bear humanity no ill will. In fact, many classic maritime tales of stranded sailors and wounded travelers rescued from the deep ocean by dolphins are secretly the work of these beautiful spirits.
Enigmatic and deeply reclusive, they are nonetheless not entirely immune to the mystical powers and summoning efforts of the empire's Water Sorcerers. When they are successfully called to arrive upon the field of battle, they seldom do so alone. They suddenly materialize alongside their entire ethereal court to deal a decisive, magically enhanced blow to the enemy lines.
How They Play
First Blood Mode
The Marid Apsara grants potent sorcerous powers directly to your forces, actively renewing and healing your front-line warriors in the mid-game chaos of combat. Their presence allows you to shape the literal ebb and flow of battle, seamlessly converting your standard battleline into a fluid, adaptive formation that can turn the tide against any opponent.
The Last Argument of Kings (TLAOK) Mode
When deployed in grand-scale rank-and-file warfare, the Marid Apsara and her summoned court bring essential reality-bending support. Her high-tier spellcasting abilities act as a macro-level tactical buffer, shifting the momentum of entire regiments by renewing damaged ranks and maintaining line cohesion against heavy enemy assaults.
