While the Gunnery Corporal maximizes fire discipline and the raw accuracy of your ranged lines, the Engineer actively sabotages the battlefield and keeps your mechanized war machines operational—offering the perfect balance between ranged firepower and strategic control.

Unit Profiles

Gunnery Corporal

A specialized command profile focused entirely on maximizing suppression fire efficiency and optimizing the dice pools of your ranged troops, such as Harquebusiers.

• Long-Range Precision: Grants the Aim state to friendly units within a 7-step radius without requiring a direct Line of Sight.
• Coordinated Fire: Allows you to chain 2 consecutive ranged attacks from completely different units against the exact same target before the opponent can react.
• Platoon Command: When joining a platoon, they increase the unit's Morale (+1) and Command (+1) stats, while allowing the player to reroll any chosen die during ranged attacks thanks to the Marksman Officer rule.

Engineer

A multi-functional utility profile dedicated entirely to battlefield support and mechanical sabotage.

• Repair and Maintenance: The only profile capable of healing structural wounds dealt to your massive War Frame constructs.
• Combat Augmentation: When embedded inside a standard infantry unit, they passively allow the player to reroll up to 2 dice in both attack and defense pools.
• Explosives: Utilize specialized explosive charges to force opponents out of key cover or objective positions using high-impact Red dice, with the added ability to permanently transform normal terrain into protective ruins to shelter allies mid-game.
