Yoroni: Oni Kishin Kiba
Stock on Hand: 0
To earn the prestigious rank of Kishin, a Yoroni warrior must ascend far beyond the earthly concerns of his peers. Daring to risk their very existence to hone and temper their spiritual beliefs, these terrifying entities physically brave the elemental hells after achieving enlightenment. Though many are lost during these harsh sojourns, those who succeed return with treasures beyond measure—the most coveted being the slowly drifting Kirin eggs.
The mystical bond formed between these two infinitely malleable beings defies easy definition, but little of that matters to the unfortunate foes who find themselves in the path of this martial juggernaut. Offering a perfect fusion of honor, power, and ruthless force, an Oni Kishin bears specialized ritual armaments. Wielding a massive odachi greatblade as Kiba (Fang Horsemen), they symbolize an endless hunger for combat challenge and battlefield glory.
How They Play
First Blood
Ferocity made manifest, the Oni Kishin Kiba thrive where the fighting is thickest. Wielding fearsome greatblades, these terrifying riders cleave through great swathes of rank-and-file enemies and pierce deep into the heart of your opponent's main battleline.
The Last Argument of Kings (TLAOK)
The Oni Kishin Kiba operate as a terrifying heavy cavalry regiment designed to hunt down heavy threats. Thanks to the Fiend Hunter special rule, the unit excels at bringing down some of the toughest targets on the battlefield, making it a premier choice for dealing with enemy Brute and Monster armies.
Their Titanic Defiance rule grants the Fearless trait when fighting Monsters, significantly improving their staying power in these critical engagements. Remember that Fiend Hunter also applies to the regiment's initial Impact attacks, making their charges particularly devastating against large targets. Despite being categorized as a Heavy regiment, the Flank special rule allows the Oni Kishin Kiba to enter the battlefield quickly to threaten key targets from unexpected angles.
