When long years passed without a single word from the Jung, they were widely considered lost to the deep sea. Their sudden return under the mon banner of the giant squid surprised everyone. They have begun reaping what they need from the merchants on the open seas of the Jwar Isles, forcing the Shiho to label them as common pirates.
Their raiding fleets are incredibly fast and their intimate knowledge of the local waters is completely unparalleled by all but perhaps the Carp clan. This allows them to easily evade the larger, less experienced junks of the Prefecture. While long years away from court life have left the Jung Pirates rough around the edges, they have certainly not forgotten their proud warrior ancestry.
