Developed as a specialized response for close-quarters fighting, the Japanese 'Assault-frame' armour is a modification of earlier battle-frame designs. These squads are armed with SMGs and lethal close combat blades forged from hardened Rift-science compounds. Mastering these weapons to a fearsome level, these soldiers provide a much-needed melee punch to Imperial Japanese forces.
